What is ArcEntry?
ArcEntry is a smart access control and video intercom platform for residential estates, gated communities and apartment buildings. It combines a touch-screen intercom at the gate, a mobile app for residents, facial recognition entry, time-limited visitor codes and digital guard visitor management — all administered from one cloud portal.
How do residents open the gate?
Any way that suits them: answering a video intercom call and pressing one button, walking up to the gate and being recognised by facial entry, entering a personal PIN on the keypad, or opening it remotely from the ArcEntry mobile app — from anywhere in the world.
How do visitors and deliveries get in?
Residents generate a time-limited visitor code or QR code from the app in seconds and send it over WhatsApp or SMS. The code works only within its validity window and every use is logged, so the estate always knows who let whom in, and when.
Does it replace our existing intercom system?
Yes. ArcEntry intercom devices replace ageing gate panels and handset intercoms with video calling to each resident's phone — no per-unit wiring or handsets required. Existing gate motors and electric locks connect directly to the ArcEntry controller.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The gate keeps working. ArcEntry devices are offline-first: facial recognition, access codes and RF remotes are all verified locally on the device. When connectivity returns, the device syncs its activity to the cloud automatically.
Can security guards use it too?
Yes — ArcEntry includes a dedicated guard app for scanning driver's licences and IDs, logging visitors and vehicles, and following your estate's configured entry procedure at each access point. Management gets complete, searchable visit records.
